Back in March at the league meetings, Bengals president Mike Brown said he didn't see any opportunity to get what he considered to be value for disgruntled quarterback Carson Palmer.
On Tuesday, the Bengals got not only value, but a potential steal.
In one of the biggest trade deadline-day deals in league history, Oakland sent a first-round pick in 2012 and a second-round pick in 2013 for Palmer, ending the quarterback's eight-year run in Cincinnati.
